    About Owner Insite
    Owner Insite

    The building is yours.
    So is the risk.

Until now, the software wasn't. The construction industry spent forty years building tools for the people who get paid and walk away. We built ours for the people left holding the building, and the liability, for the next twenty years.

    Our Origin

Every tool was built for the contractor. We thought that was backwards.

We spent years sitting on the owner's side of the table, watching every piece of construction software get pitched to the people on the other side. Project management built for general contractors. Submittal tools built for architects. Scheduling platforms built for subs. Closeout systems built to help the contractor get paid and walk away.

The owner, meanwhile, was handed a hard drive, a stack of binders, and a polite handshake. The party signing the check, holding the asset, and carrying the liability for the next two decades. The entire industry's toolkit was optimized to protect everyone except the person who paid for the building.

Owner Insite started with a simple question: what would construction software look like if the owner came first? This is our answer.

"It's like trying to solve a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle after throwing away the box and losing half the pieces."

    Our Mission

Shift the balance of risk back to the owner.

Project management software ends at closeout. Document storage isn't litigation-ready. Warranty tracking lives in spreadsheets. Cost models don't account for long-tail exposure. Every gap in the existing toolkit becomes a line item on the owner's balance sheet ten years later.

We're closing those gaps with software, services, and a methodology grounded in what actually happens when projects go sideways.

On the day a problem surfaces, whether that's six months or sixteen years after substantial completion, you should have the evidence, the leverage, and the answers.

    The Owner's Blind Spot

The dispute timeline you weren't warned about.

    1. Day 1 – Substantial Completion

Ribbon cutting. Punchlist closes. The project team disbands. Most owners assume their exposure ends here. It doesn't.

    2. Year 3 – The First Symptom

A leak. A crack. A failing system. The contractor blames the manufacturer. The manufacturer blames the installer. Both ask for documentation you no longer have.

    3. Year 7 – Litigation

Your attorneys spend 300+ hours reconstructing what happened from memory and fragments. Settlement value is determined less by what's true than by what you can prove.

    How We Work

    What sets us apart.

We don't sell software in a box. We build, train, and stand alongside the owners we serve.

    Principle

    Owner-First, Always

Most construction tech is built for GCs and architects. We build exclusively for the owner, the party that bears the long-tail risk.

    Practice

    Partnership Over Software

We don't just hand you a platform. Our team works alongside yours to shape policies, train staff, and stand up defensible processes.

    Method

    Built on Real Disputes

Our methodology is grounded in decades of construction litigation experience: what evidence wins, what gaps lose, and where owners get burned.

    Who We Serve

Public agencies, school districts, healthcare systems, higher ed, and private developers.

If your organization signs the contract, pays for the asset, and lives with it for the next 20+ years, we built Owner Insite for you. Our clients range from single-campus districts to multi-billion-dollar capital programs. What they share is a commitment to protecting the public or institutional dollars they steward.
